Sven Bolin

Sweden (1921-1996) 

Sven Åke Bolin, a ceramist born in Höganäs in 1921. He began to work as an assistant as a young boy at Höganäs ceramics company where he stays until 1980s. 

Sven primarily worked on jars , bottles, pots and different water container. The workshops were open to employees’ personal projets. Sven also made a few vases and figurines.

Since 1970s Sven also starts teaching pottery.

Sven Bolin died in Höganäs in 1996 His objects were signed "SB" , "Sven Bolin " or " S.Bolin " .
