Step and Step Melange are two new textiles woven from the non-flammable yarn Trevira CS, making the product suitable for use in offices, institutions and other public areas where the requirements regarding safety and durability are sharpest.
The simple but characteristic structure is a light oatmeal weave, giving the fabric volume and making the direction more discrete. The fabric is thus especially suitable for use in upholstering, as apart from the discrete direction and good body, it also has a fine balance between stretch and elasticity in both warp and weft directions.
Step and Step Melange were developed as two independent designs with a close connection. The fabrics are woven with the same simple and discrete structure, which is usable in a natural and classic manner on all types of furniture. The individuality lies in the single colour and the mottled expression which Step and Step Melange separately represent.
