PIXA was born from an upcycling project aimed at giving a second life to materials salvaged from construction sites. Often seen as ordinary and purely functional, these materials are, to me, a source of inspiration and fascination.

The PIXA chair emerged from the idea of designing a seat that is both simple and clever, with an original and timeless aesthetic. A single plank becomes the centerpiece of this striking chair, defined by its radical, minimalist design. Inspired by the principles of Enzo Mari—who championed democratic and accessible design—PIXA offers a seat that is thoughtfully crafted and ingeniously conceived for ease of production.

By repurposing industrial materials initially intended for construction, this creation invites us to rediscover the hidden beauty of everyday materials, while also challenging our relationship with consumption and exploring new ways of making furniture.
