Mid-Century modern scandinavian ceramic lamp. Model Esben Klint 67 cm. The Esben Klint lamp is a unique combination of two Danish design classics: the pleated LE KLINT lampshade and the characteristic grooves of the Lyngby vase. These classics have their roots in 1940s functionalism, sharing razor-sharp lines and the pure white colour. The Esben Klint lamp is a beautiful, timeless design object handmade in porcelain and will look great just about anywhere in your home.

Esben Klint
Denmark (1915-1969)
Architect Esben Klint finished his training as a cabinetmaker in 1934 and continued his education at the Technical School and The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Until 1954 he had a design practice with his father architect Kaare Klint. After his father’s death, Esben Klint had his own design practice 1954-60.
Esben Klint was very much his father’s student, as is demonstrated by the school furniture (RP02911), which he designed in collaboration with architect Børge Mogensen.
