The Linea RMT6 meeting chair is designed by Rudi Merz in 2011. Its horseshoe shaped backrest is manufactured using traditional joinery and the wide, upholstered seat gives good seating comfort. The Linea collection includes soft, organic forms and upholstered products with round legs. Every piece of furniture is made keeping in mind the furniture making tradition of Finland and the joinery developed throughout the years at the Nikari studio workshop.

Rudi Merz
Rudi Merz (b. 1948) was born in Switzerland and ended up in Finland when he got an opportunity to do his internship in Yrjö Kukkapuro’s interior design office. Since he has worked both as a carpenter and a carpentry teacher.
