Hans Bunde originally created Penguins in 1954; one for each of his sisters. We are now proud to introduce the Penguin in a family of two sizes, all ready to move out in to the world. Penguin is made in hand painted beech wood. The painted back represents the gracious plumage of the bird whereas the unpainted chest reveals the natural qualities of the wood.
