Elegant and straight-backed like a standing flamingo on its long slender legs, Foersom Hiort-Lorenzen’s neo-classic from 2003 expresses a rare sense of modernity. In addition to its popularity both in the contract market and with private buyers, the chair also exemplifies particularly exquisite upholstery techniques. Flamingo is aesthetics, ergonomics and excellent craftsmanship in a contemporary combination. Foam: Moulded polyurethane foam in seat and back. Covers: Fixed.

Johannes Foersom & Peter Hiort-Lorenzen
Johannes Foersom and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen are the two great representatives of Scandinavian design of the past twenty-five years. They both practical and academic training, and taught at the Danish Design School, in Copenhagen. They worked together for many companies in Denmark and abroad, and their work has been awarded several times.
Their design is in the tradition of functionalism with a particular accent on aesthetics. For over twenty years, they work successfully for Erik Jørgensen Møbelfabrik.
