Scandinavian Bruksbo bench, new edition. Designed in 1960 by Torbjøn Afdal and originally produced by the Norwegian cabinetmaker Bruksbo, the bench is now released by Fjordfiesta.
Made in Norway, the Bruksbo bench by Torbjøn Afdal is available in 3 lengths (120 cm, 150 cm or 200 cm), 3 finishes (oak, walnut, black lacquer) and 2 heights (34 cm or 44 cm)
The Bruksbo bench can be used as an entrance bench, coffee table, or table bench in its 44 cm high version.
A series of accessories are available: Fabric or leather cushion, Drawer unit, Pocket tray.

Torbjørn Afdal
Norway (1917-1999)
Torbjørn Afdal started as a designer at Bruksbo Tegnekontor in 1946 and was among the most prolific post-war Norwegian designers.
Today Afdal is considered as one of Norway’s most famous designers. His furniture was among the collections of The White House and the Japanese Emperor. Torbjørn Afdal received the gold medal at the 1959 craft fair So wohnt Europa in Munich for work including the dining set Form.
In 1960 Torbjørn Afdal designed the multi-purpose bench Krobo. It became an instant classic in Norway because of its unique flexibility and many uses. Considered among Afdal’s classics are Krobo, Times liquor cabinet and Minerva range of conference furniture.
