Textile designer Margrethe Odgaard
Furniture designer Chris L. Halstrøm
The design duo Included Middle was formed in 2014 by furniture designer Chris L. Halstrøm and textile designer Margrethe Odgaard.
An important aspect of Included Middle’s working process is an interest in the interactions of form, colours and patterns. ‘Because we come from separate professional areas, it is our dogma that both areas should be present in our products. Form, function, pattern and colours affect each other mutually when we work.’
The creative framework is defined by the gap between the two curious designers and their two areas of expertise, in an intersection of knowledge and skills. An approach in constant development, as ideas are tested and translated into objects with a unique sensuous dimension.
