Jesper K. Thomsen

Jesper K. Thomsen is an industrial designer and the owner and founder of the design and consultancy firm Studio Jesper K. Thomsen, which was founded in 2000.

Studio Jesper K. Thomsen has worked in close partnership with several Danish and international clients. The studio handles product development and manufacturing in a wide range of fields, from watches, bicycles and furniture to energy sources, welfare technologies and health. Jesper K. Thomsen develops simple and sustainable design solutions to complex challenges driven by a quest for ‘design with justification’.

In 2013, Jesper K. Thomsen developed and founded DoseSystem ApS, a reminder system for medication to ensure efficient dosage monitoring. Today, he is the director and co-owner of DoseSystem ApS.

Jesper K. Thomsen worked as a designer and illustrator at Erik Herløw Design from 1994 until 2001. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design and he also has a background as a building technician.
